1/4 Size Violin Outfits

The 1/4 size violin is typically recommended for children between the ages of 4 and 6, or students with an arm length of approximately 17.6 to 20 inches (44–52 cm).

Choosing the right size is the single most important decision a parent can make for a beginning student. An instrument that is too large creates tension, discourages practice, and can cause injury. An instrument that fits correctly allows the student to focus entirely on learning.
